I had purchased too much black wool-ease when I made Asta’s scarf AND since the 30 days to return was past,I went back to the store and bought some white wool-ease and some gold full-o’sheep yarn…with an eye towards making a surprise for Kate &Calvin…

They’re very cute &unless I’m mistaken,they’re likely sitting with “Andy”(Kate’s crocheted amigurumi Android) and listening to Christmas Carols.

Ummm,not before Christmas! I think that the one on the left (the little fat one) looks like a reject from Angry Birds. There are lots of amigurumi patterns on the LionBrand.com website –I don’t have much of stash of odds and ends yarn in various colors but similar weights for making these. If you crochet,they’d be wonderful for craft fairs or gifts (I’ve seen Santas,Gingerbread men &women,Gingerbread houses,Reindeer,etc for Christmas and loads of critters for Halloween;then there are the random animals…Actually,the characters on Angry Birds are all highly emblematic of amigurumi).
